Sunday was a time for people in the areas of Bolton and Alton to gather to honour those who have served and fallen for Canada over the years. This group was marching up the north hill of Bolton to the village Cenotaph.

The community was out at the Alton branch of the Royal Canadian Legion Sunday morning for the annual service. Sergeant At Arms Chriss Skalozub of Orangeville accompanied Branch President Larry Weltz in laying a wreath.

Captain Lennard Johnston of the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering played the Last Post at the service in Bolton.

Carly Cianflocca sang the anthems at Sunda's service in Bolton.

These students from Alton Public School sang as part of the services at the Legion hall Sunday.

Mayor Marolyn Morrison was accompanied by Chloe Gunter of the 1st Bolton Venturers as she laid this wreath.
