Altercation leads to arrest

A 47-year-old man from Brampton is facing an assault with a weapon charge after a Sept. 6 altercation in Bolton.
Caledon OPP reports they were called to a business in Bolton shortly before 4 p.m. to investigate the dispute between two men. The investigation revealed that one of the men was shopping at the business and a conversation started regarding money that was owed. The two got into a physical altercation, and one of the participants hit the other in the face and arm with a rod used to change tires.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
