Annual ASK Festival King is coming

The ninth annual Festival King, the annual celebration put on by Arts Society King (ASK), will run from July 10 to 26.
There will be a number of events and activities of an artistic theme to keep people occupied.
They will include performances of Romeo and Juliet by the Humber River Shakespeare company. As well, there will be a talk from one of the chief engineers in the design of the Canadarm from its chief engineer and the opportunity to touch objects that have travelled in space. There will be hikes that the family can take part in. Go on a private tour of Lawren Harris paintings with an expert at The McMichael Canadian Collection. Learn how to create greeting cards, ceramic centrepieces, baskets, jewellery, watercolours, wire sculptures, travel journals, and collages at one of the many workshops
