Do something about windrows

February 28, 2014   ·   0 Comments

With this winter came a lot more snow fall.
As I drive around I see mountains of snow.
What I don’t get is why the snow removers pile up the snow in front of people’s driveways. This snow has been heavy to shovel. After I spent a few hours clearing mine up, the guys came and dumped more right back, right in front my driveway. After all that work comes all that ignorance. Why is that okay? Are they above the law or just enjoy watching people struggle? How about our seniors?
The snow piles at the end of our driveways make it very difficult to back up. They obscure traffic and pedestrians.
You would think that the powers that be could put their heads together and think of a way to solve what seems such an easy thing to solve. And we pay taxes. For what.?
If it’s dangerous, then why do the snow removal guys do this. Is it on purpose? Makes me wonder. They may think it’s funny, but I don’t.
Get rid of these piles. It’s not a rocket science, it’s being safe. Set the example.
And these guys are not risking injury like the common folk like me and the rest of us who feel the same way.
Come on people, it’s not that hard. Do something for us taxpayers who are constantly getting shafted.

Bolton
