Nominate a volunteer in Caledon

The Town of Caledon has announced that nominations are currently being accepted for the 2014 Caledon Volunteer and Citizen Achievement Awards.
Those who know a volunteer who has represented their organization and the Caledon community in an extraordinary manner, are encouraged to recognize their dedication with an award nomination. Organizations may wish to consider nominating small groups (such as committees within an organization), or individuals who have contributed a significant number of years.
All nominations are reviewed by a selection committee. Selections will be based on Council-approved criteria. Individuals who are selected to receive awards will be officially notified, along with their nominator, and will be invited to attend the awards celebration.
The 2014 Volunteer and Citizen Achievement Awards will be presented April 7 at the Caledon Community Complex in Caledon East.
Nomination forms and details of the award criteria may be obtained from the Town of Caledon website at www.caledon.ca/recreation or at a local recreation centre.
