On Friday, April 27, 2018 at approximately 2:35 am members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in a driveway of a residence on Dixie Road north of Old School Road.

Police observed the suspect vehicle, a black 2012 Acura, running in the driveway of the residence. While speaking to the lone male occupant, the officer determined that his ability to have care or control a motor vehicle was impaired by the consumption of alcohol and arrested him accordingly.
As a result, a 41-year-old man from Mississauga was charged with the following criminal offences: Care or Control While Impaired (Alcohol) and Care or Control Over 80 mgs. of Alcohol.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on May 17, 2018 to answer to the charges.
