Two robberies on Torbram Road

March 1, 2018   ·   0 Comments

The weekend of Feb. 17 saw Caledon OPP dealing with two incidents at homes on Torbram Road.
Police were called out the Saturday (Feb. 17) after a homeowner reported a vehicle, that had been left unlocked overnight, had been entered. Some change and a gift card was stolen.
The following day, police were told of another incident, in which an unlocked garage had been entered. In addition to a socket set being stolen, police said suspects also smashed the window of a vehicle to get at a wallet.
Police remind residents to always lock the doors to their vehicle. If you have a garage, use it and lock the door to the garage as well as the vehicle. Never leave valuable objects or packages in full view. Put them in the trunk.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Detective Constable Steve Linton at 905-584-2241 or toll free at 1-888-310-1122.
