The action may not have been particularly fast, but it was intense last Wednesday as students from Mayfield Secondary School hosted their counterparts from Humberview Secondary School for a sledge hockey match. It was held as a fundraiser for the White Birch Special Needs Day Program in Palgrave. It was a close, hard-fought game than ended in a 2-2 draw.
