Tim Hortons’ Match Our Meals program a success

February 14, 2018   ·   0 Comments

Throughout November and December, the Tim Hortons outlets in Bolton, owned by The Stafford Group, challenged their community to match their donation of $5,000 to Caledon Meals on Wheels.
The company has announced that it has donated $5,000 to Meals on Wheels through their Match Our Meals Program. The Stafford Group matched each donation, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, which was successfully matched by the community with another $5,000. Funds from this campaign will go to providing meals to members of the community who are in financial need.
Brad and Liz Stafford, who led the community challenge were excited to partner with Meals on Wheels on this new initiative. They added a key to the success of the program was working with an organization and volunteers that care and contribute so much.
“We are so grateful to Tim Hortons Bolton and The Stafford Group for putting out this challenge to the community and supporting Caledon Meals on Wheels,” Meals on Wheels Executive Director Christine Sevigny said. “The Tim Hortons Match Our Meals donations will go a long way to ensure that seniors and people with disabilities get the nutrition and support they require so they continue to live independently in their homes. Thank you to our community for doubling their impact!”

Outlet General Managers Jennifer Lee and Summer Goodridge joined Brad and Liz Stafford recently in presenting the cheque for $5,000 to Caledon Meals on Wheels Executive Director Christine Sevigny and Meal Coordinator Erin Paisley.
