Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon East is a place with plenty of activities, and local Grade 8 students thinking of attending Hall next year were recently given a look at what to expect. The event was the annual open house for Grade 8 students and their families. Students Mackenzie Brownlee, Catherine Marleau, Emily Marino and Maya Sposato were demonstrating some of what they have learned in the cosmetology classes.

Future Hall students Vanessa Italiano and Emily Esposito were getting some practice on the school’s computers.

These theatre students were putting on a bit of improv, with Lucas Cannon playing the role of the bench while Saden Hickman pretended to propose to Sydney Hollmann.

There are plenty of sports available at Hall. Jade Bryan was offering information on the archery team.

Grade 11 reps Ben Warrian and Nicole Godin had lots of information on the students’ council.

The school’s Jazz Band, under the direction of Frank Adriano, was providing musical entertainment during the open house.

Several of the school’s artists were demonstrating some of their work, with Grade 10 student Jacqualin Silver creating a painting with acrylics.
