Session coming on getting EI

February 1, 2018   ·   0 Comments

What are people to do when they find they need Employment Insurance (EI)?
Those who have questions about EI will want to take in a presentation Jobs Caledon at Caledon Community Services (CCS) is hosting. It’s going to be entitled What To Do When you Need EI!, with special guest Service Canada’s Milan Aryal. It will be this coming Wednesday (Feb. 7) from 10 a.m. to noon.
This workshop will help job seekers and citizens understand the types of employment insurance, how to avoid EI fraud, rights and responsibilities, and other government of Canada services.
With more than 13 years of experience serving as an EI call centre agent, a citizen services officer, and now as a community outreach and liaison services officer, Aryal offers valuable information to help people learn how to access the services they need.
“Service Canada provides a wide range of federal programs and services to seniors, workers, newcomers, youth and persons with disabilities,” Aryal said. “Learning about these services is helpful for anyone.”
Seating is limited; book a seat by contacting Jobs Caledon and as Aryal says “Get information on Employment Insurance before you need it; knowledge is power!”
Call 905-584-2300, ext. 200 or email jobs@ccs4u.org to register.
