Suspects arrested going through vehicles

Two young men from Toronto have been charged after Caledon OPP responded to a report of suspicious people in Caledon East early last Saturday morning.
Police report they responded to a call at about 3:25 a.m. regarding people who were seen going through vehicles on Marion Street. An officer went along Larry Street and saw a male standing next to a vehicle in a private driveway while another person was inside. The officer was able to apprehend both of them.
The two young men, one 18 and the other 17, were charged with theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle and trespassing at night.
Police are reminding the public to lock their vehicles and remove all valuable items from plain view.
