Ken Weber to address Historical Society

November 9, 2017   ·   0 Comments

Why is local history more interesting and fun?
Local author, educator and historian Ken Weber will address that question when he speaks to the Caledon East Historical Society.
The talk will be Nov. 29, starting at 7:30 p.m. at St. James’ Anglican Church in Caledon East.
This promises to be an interesting evening, as Weber brings his usual thorough research of the subject, and presents it in his unique, humorous way.
This will also be a fund-raiser for the Society. Weber’s newly-published book, Ken Weber’s Historic Hills, will be available. It’s a coffee table book full of local stories and photographs of Caledon and the headwaters area. For that night only, the book will be sold for $40, and for every copy purchased, Weber will donate $10 to the Society.
Admission will be $5 for visitors.
