Orangeville Angel Concert fundraiser this Sunday

Saint Mark’s Anglican Church will be the scene Oct. 22, of a third Orangeville Angel Concert.
A fundraiser since its inception two years ago by Ann Lay of Melville, the concert will feature many area musicians as well as an art sale and authors’ book signing.
All proceeds from the event will go to assist local Syrian refugees and the Indigenous people of Ontario.
Included among the artists are tenor Mark DuBois and his Mark DuBois Studio Singers, Jeff Bird, Serge and Sylvia Gagnon, Melyssa Kerr, Barry Peters, Sue Smith, David Tilley, Nancy Claridge and a Drumming Circle.
Authors who will be present for the book signing include Elizabeth Armstrong, Jill Michelle and Cliff Standingready (Standing Buffalo Warrior).
The art sale will feature local artists’ rendering of angels.
The concert will take place at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and are available at BookLore or at the door.
