Traffic stop leads to criminal charges

A 42-year-old Caledon man is facing charges after Caledon OPP pulled over a motorcycle Aug. 11.
Police report an officer on general patrol in the area of Mayfield and Airport Roads shortly after 7 a.m spotted a green Kawasaki motorcycle with a licence plate that had been stolen.
The officer stopped the bike, and further discovered the driver was disqualified.
He was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, driving while disqualified and failing to apply for permit on becoming a owner.
