Two charge in after Aug. 16 shooting

Caledon OPP reports two men have been charged in connection with a shooting Aug. 16 in the area of Highway 10 and Old School Road.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was shot, but sustained non-life threatening injuries.
A 19-year-old man from Mississauga and a 26-year-old from Etobicoke have been charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine).
The investigation is ongoing by members of the OPP Caledon Major Crime Unit with assistance from Peel Regional Police.
Police do not believe there is any ongoing threat to public safety as a result of this incident.
