Caledon OPP reports the crash, which took place around 11 a.m., involved an eastbound green 2007 Honda CRV and a black 2013 Honda Pilot that was heading south Police said the investigation revealed the driver of the CRV had been operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. The man was charged with impaired driving; driving with more then the legal limit of alcohol in his system; obstructing a peace officer; personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice (identity fraud); identity theft (obtaining or possessing another person's identity information; two counts of driving while disqualified; failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking; disobeying a stop sign; failing to surrender an insurance card; failing to surrender a licence; being a novice driver with a blood-alcohol content above zero; being a G1 licence holder- unaccompanied by qualified driver; being a G1 licence holder and carrying a front-seat passenger; and driving while under suspension.
