Man charged in fail to remain case

A 43-year-old man from Alliston has been charged win connection with a traffic accident July 30 on Caledon King Townline.
Caledon OPP reported the accident, which took place shortly before 10 p.m. south of Castlederg Sideroad. Officers found a beige 2007 Lexus E35 on its roof top east of the roadway and a red 2015 Honda Fit on the west side of the road.
The driver of the Honda was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the passenger from within that vehicle was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Lexus fled the scene of the collision.
The man was charged with two-counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm and two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
