Open house to mark closing of Mount Alverno

After 55 years of service to the Roman Catholic Church and the people of Ontario, Mount Alverno is closing its doors.
There will be an open house at the facility, at 20704 Heart Lake Rd., Aug. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m.
All are invited to attend for the afternoon and reminisce about past Seminary days, retreat experiences or just to talk with the friar’s who have ministered there over the years.
