Fail to remain accident on Townline

Caledon OPP are looking for the driver of a beige 2007 Lexus E35, who apparently fled the scene of a two-car, head-on collision on Caledon King Townline Sunday night.
Police report the incident took place south of Castlederg Sideroad shortly before 10 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene to find the Lexus on its roof top east of the roadway and a red 2015 Honda Fit on the west side of the road. Preliminary investigation revealed the Lexus was travelling southbound the Townline and the Honda was heading north when the two vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the Honda was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the passenger from within that vehicle was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Lexus fled the scene.
Efforts from the OPP’s Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team and Technical Collision Investigators have been utilized to assist with this investigation.
The investigation is on-going and additional information will be released once it is available.
