Three ball hockey teams each win two

Two nights of action last week in the Inglewood Ball Hockey League resulted in little change in the standings.
The top two teams each posted a pair of wins to keep them out in front. Mr. Handyman also won two matches, giving them a hold on third place in the standings with 15. The team representing 360º Tire Service is still in first with 24, followed by George’s Arena Sports with 20.
June 22
George’s 8, Carney Plumbing 2
Point getters for George’s were Mike Volpe, Justin Fiorini, Luigi D’Agostino, Nick Franseze, Matt Ricci, Matt Scida and Adam Fraccaro.
Carney Plumbing placer was Chris Unwin with both, while Shawn Lane, Sandy Shand, Marc Denis and Terry Leonard provided helpers.
360º Tire 3, We Are Creative 2
The Tire guys were able to pull it off once more this week, getting their second narrow margin victory of the week, this time over We Are Creative.
The Tire go-to guys were Andy Williams (unassisted), Marco Franza from Jake Sterritt and Mike Vutcher, and Travis Bannon from Nick Adams and Williams. We Are Creative crashers were Jon Simoes from Rocco Manicone and Paul Zijlstra, and David Dlugozima.
Mr. Handyman, 3 Caledon Hills Cycling 2
The last game of the night saw Mr. Handyman hold on for the win over Caledon Hills Cycling.
Handyman hammers were dropped by Will Pitsadiontis from Kristian McMillan, Nathan Forer from Joseph Lupo and Adrian DiCarlatonio, and Pitsadiontis from Steven DeFrancesco and Phil DeFrancesco. Caledon Hills cyclers were Albert Bettridge (unassisted), and Dave Philipps from Terry Masters and Ian Dunn.
June 20
360º Tire 4, Caledon Hills 3
In a close on 360º Tire were able to net one late in the third to steal the victory over Caledon Hills Cycling.
360 Tire treads were left by Adams from Frankie Carricatio and Kyle Young, Williams from Kyle Jones, Williams (unassisted), and Carricatio from Adams and Mike Ferguson. Caledon Hills crashers were Phil Anselmi from Peter Anselmi, Kyle Dalcin from Richard Podzorski and Dunn, and Podzorski from Kurt Snell.
Mr. Handyman 7, Carney 3
Mr. Handyman woke up in the third, getting five markers and blasting past Carney Plumbing for the win.
Handyman bin bashers were Forer (three goals and two assists), Daniel Leone (a goal and an assist), JT Gore (one assist), Lupo (two goals and two assists), Robert Keszeg (three assists), Philip DeFrancesco (two assists), McMillan (an assist) and Anthony Figliano (an assist). Carney goal getters were Tyler Hardcastle from Shand and goalie Shale Wagman, Unwin from Leonard and Brandon Sinclair, and John Cameron from Hardcastle.
George’s 5, We Are Creative 3
In another close one, George’s were able to pull out a win over We Are Creative.
George’s goal getters were D’Agostino from Volpe and Scida, Chris Stirpe from Volpe, D’Agostino from Steve Pasceri and Volpe, Volpe from D’Agostino, and Fiorini from Scida and Chris Della Morra. We Are creators were Joshua D’Eri with a pair and Gavin D’Eri with the single. Assists were from Mike O’Reilly and Simoes.
