The 18-year-old Bolton resident was stabbed to death in an incident in May 2016 in Wasaga Beach. As part of their dedication to their community and as a way to say thank you for the support they received during their tragic loss, the Molinaro family has adopted the July 4 Bolton blood donor clinic. The family has also committed to recruit new donors and fill appointments to help collect 150 donations at the clinic. “We are so pleased to have the support of the Molinaro family in helping to encourage new blood donors this summer,” Elaine St. Pierre, territory manager for Canadian Blood Services, remarked. “Local support is crucial for our community clinics. The Caledon community requires an additional 160 new donors in 2017 to support the collection goals.” “Our family is happy to partner with Canadian Blood Services,” Rafaele Gallucci, Francesco's uncle, said. “We invite anyone who knew and loved Francesco to consider being a donor.” - Rafaele Gallucci, Francesco's uncle. The clinic will start at 4 p.m. at Albion-Bolton Community Centre.
