Hit and run

A 26-year-old Terra Cotta resident is facing charges after an April 13 hit-and run incident near Cheltenham.
Caledon OPP reports a grey 2012 Honda Civic struck a 16-year-old male cyclist at about 8:35 p.m. at King Street and Creditview Road.
The driver of the car did not remain at the scene. The cyclist sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
After a lengthy police investigation, the woman has been charged with failing to stop at scene of an accident. She has also been charged with failing to report an accident under the Highway Traffic Act.
Anyone with information related to the collision or who may have witnessed it is asked to contact the investigating officer, Constable Michael Overgaard at (905) 584-2241.
