Caledon Community Services (CCS) is joining with the Tamarack Institute to host a one-day workshop where participants will learn how to engage and deepen their community in order to build a common agenda for large scale change.
It will be May 30 at Caledon Equestrian Park, 200 Pine Ave. in Palgrave.
Paul Born, Tamarack’s founder, will spend the day with Caledon thought leaders and people in diverse sectors who want to build a strong and vibrant community.
The interest in a full-day workshop is to gather together a large cast of characters across all sectors of this community: Small business, corporate, mayor and council, schools, faith leaders, service clubs, youth leaders, social services, Town of Caledon staffers, schools, etc). Born will help participants think and work collectively on the challenges that affect the community.
Registration will open at 9 a.m. and a light breakfast will be served. The workshop begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m., with lunch and snacks provided.
