Title: Board holding session on 21st century teaching

The Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) of the Peel District School Board, along with Trustee Stan Cameron, will be holding an information night on the board's new Vision for 21st Century Teaching and Learning.
Entitled Empowering Modern Learners, it will be next Thursday (March 30) in the Auditorium at Mayfield Secondary School, at the corner of Bramalea and Mayfield Roads. It will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The evening will include a presentation by Lawrence DeMaeyer, coordinating principal of modern learning. He will discuss how parents can foster leadership and innovation among students in the use of technology.
This session is intended for parents only. Those interested are asked to registrer at www.peelschools.org/pic
