Weekend of bluegrass music and fun coming to TottenhamThe Tottenham Bluegrass Festival is a weekend of bluegrass music held June 16 to 18. The natural amphitheater of the Tottenham Conservation Area and the cool waters of the village pond surely make it an experience to be remembered. This year's lineup draws popular and award-winning bands from the United States and across Canada. The performers will include Lost and Found Bluegrass; Chris Jones and The Night Drivers; Ray Legere and Acoustic Horizon; Bill White and White Pine; CR5 Bluegrass; County Road 44; Jim Hayward and Willow Ridge; Beeton Creek Rising; The Hit Pickers; and Switchback Road. As always, the camping is free with the purchase of a weekend ticket. Tottenham has come to be known as Ontario's Top Family Festival (children 16 and younger are admitted free with a responsible adult). Other attractions include a youth talent contest, the Sunday gospel show, hands-on workshops and food and craft vendors continue to add to the Bluegrass festival experience. Act early, because weekend tickets purchased before June 5 are $85. Regular priced weekend tickets are $95.
