Rotary Club of Palgrave’s Weekly Rotary Minute

Rotary has its own priorities for most months of the year, as Rotarians probably have noticed while reading the Rotarian Magazine.
Observance of the first Rotary months began in July 1983 when special weeks were designated as special months.
October: Vocational Service Month.
November: The Rotary Foundation Month.
December: Family Month.
January: Rotary Awareness Month.
February: World understanding Month, and of course Rotary’s Anniversary Feb 23.
March: Open for Club Activities.
April Magazine Month.
May: again open for Club Activities and Fellowship.
June: Rotary Fellowship Month.
July: Literacy Month.
August: Membership and Extension Month.
September: New Generations Month.
Rotary weeks include World Interact Week in November and World Rotaract Week in March.
