Police spot bad driving at Badlands

A 19-year-old man from Fergus is facing stunt driving charges after an incident near the Cheltenham Badlands.
Caledon OPP report an officer was on parol along Olde Base Line Road April 1 when he saw a red Dodge Ram pick-up travelling at high speed along the slopes and curves near the Badlands. The officer activated his cruiser’s mobil radar unit and clocked the truck going 98 km-h in a posted 40 zone.
The man was charged with racing a motor vehicle. His licence was suspended for seven days, and the truck was seized.
