Town looking for nominations for Caledon’s Walk of Fame

The Town of Caledon is now accepting nominations for the 2015 inductee to Caledon’s Walk of Fame.
Since 1999, the Walk of Fame has been honouring local individuals who have made a significant contribution locally, nationally and internationally.
Nominees must be Canadian citizens who have achieved local, national and international recognition for their paid or volunteer contribution in one or more of the following areas: Arts and Culture — organizing, instructing or promoting arts and culture; Sports and Leisure — community, sports, youth or other recreational groups; Philanthropic and Humanitarian Causes — service clubs, social services or health care; and Environmental Initiatives — innovative programs or initiatives addressing environmental issues.
Other categories may be considered as submitted.
All nomination forms must be submitted to the Town of Caledon by 4:30 p.m. July 7. Nomination forms are available online at www.caledon.ca, from the Parks and Recreation Department at Town Hall, or by calling 905-584-9254.
