FORMER MAYOR MAKES CONTRIBUTION TO LEGION Former Caledon mayor Marolyn Morrison was on hand at the Alton branch of the Royal Canadian Legion Saturday with a contribution. She presented a cheque for $1,000 Steve Hayward, who’s in charge of public relations for the branch. The money came from Morrison’s retirement party in the fall, and it will go toward obtaining a light armoured vehicle monument for the branch, as well as repairing the roof on the Legion hall. Also on hand for the presentation were retirement party committee members Marjorie Gibson and Lynda Craig, Morrison’s sons Master Corporal Brad Morrison and Major Andrew Morrison, and committee members Anne Livingston and Councillor Jennifer Innis.
