George’s extend ball hockey lead

It was easy to remember the final scores in May 19 Inglewood Ball hockey League action, as both matches ended 4-1.
The results saw George’s Arena Sports take a four-point lead in the standings, while Carney Plumbing notched a win to tighten up the rest of the standings.

In a game where both teams yet again decided that it would be better in the sin bin than on the floor, George’s were able to push past Caledon Hills and get the win.
Net nabbers for George’s were Ferdinando Colella from Matt Scida and Anthony Villari, Joe Christiano from Sunny Gill and Justin Fiorini, Fiorini from David Ruffalo, and Scida from Fiorini and Villari. Caledon Hills’ lone peddler was Kyle Dalcin, unassisted.

Carney got back on the winning track with a little help from their friends, borrowing a couple of players to fill in their extremely short bench.
Marksmen for the Carney crew were Jesse Rooyakkers from Jeff Rumbolt and Kelvin Young, Young from Brian Dunn and Dave Philips, Young from Shawn Lane and Todd Elson, and Rumbolt from Lane. Ron’s go-to guy was Daniel Mulhern from Josh Rowland and Jed Franco.
