Mayfield Secondary School Owen Beveridge This Grade 12 student has been showing his prowess in nordic skiing, placing tops in the senior boys’ individual competition at ROPSSA and being part of the winning four-man relay. He was also involved in cross-country running in the fall. Away from school, he plays house league hockey in Orangeville. The 17-year-old lives in Belfountain with his parents Catherine Harely and Garth Beveridge.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Katelyn Robertson This 15-year-old contributed her skills as a setter for the varsity volleyball team, which recently concluded its season. She said she’s thinking of going out for the lacrosse team; “just trying out a new sport.” When not in school, she’s involved in crossfit in Shelburne. The Grade 10 student lives in Shelburne with her parents Rob and Cathy Robertson.

She said she’s thinking of going out for the lacrosse team; “just trying out a new sport.” When not in school, she’s involved in crossfit in Shelburne. The Grade 10 student lives in Shelburne with her parents Rob and Cathy Robertson.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School Jennifer Santarossa She’s only 14, but she contributed her skills playing power for the senior girls’ volleyball team, which just missed the playoffs this year. In the community, she plays rep volleyball with Acts Elites in Orangeville, and she used to figure skate in Nobleton. The Grade 9 student lives in Bolton with her parents Cheryl and Steve Santarossa.
