Intoxicated man arrested

A 30-year-old Caledon man is facing charges after a Jan. 2 break-in in the area of Innis Lake Road and Castlederg Sideroad.
Caledon OPP reports they were called out to look into a report of a suspicious man who was walking on the road and appeared to be intoxicated. There were concerns for his well-being as he was not easily visible to traffic.
While officers were in the area, further reports were received of a possibly intoxicated male who was found in a garage by the home owners and seen fleeing the property. Descriptions of the male and direction of travel assisted officers in locating the male. He was arrested by the officers and was found to be in possession of items taken from the home.
The man was charged with break and enter, trespassing at night and intoxication in a public place.
